The artist has lived near Copenhagen since 2013 with her family. She grew up in London and Devon. Her beloved great-grandfather was a talented gardener, their garden was full of beautfiful Roses, Lupins, Dahlias and Petunias. She has always loved to paint colourful floral paintings with unusual techniques. The Flower, Falling Roses and Flowers are just a few examples of this style.

The artist moved to Devon when she was 9 years old, it is a beautiful part of south England. She lived one minute from the beach and she spent her summers playing on the beach and watching the giant waves crash over the beach wall, in the winters. The Blue and Gold, Cascading Water and Waterfall series are inspired by her love of the ocean.

The artist has been visiting her family in Bermuda since she was 3 years old, it is like her second home. In Bermuda in 2022 she  created two commissions, in a very different style. Bermuda Palm and Swizzle in Bloom are a style that she plans to explore further, in the very near future.

The Art Butler loves to travel, she has back-packed through Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Asia (3 times) and the USA. She trekked through the jungle in Sumatra in Indonesia. She was lucky enough to observe an Orangutan and her baby in the jungle, a truly amazing experience. The Forever Green series is a reflection of this time in the jungle. The Reef is the artists interpretation of swimming above the reef’s in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
